Blue Peter

After turning down the job in 1978 Peter became the 11th presenter of the programme in 1980, leaving in 1984, only to return for a further stint until 1986.

He has appeared on the programme many times since, most recently in February 2007 where he was awarded a gold badge for his work with the scouts.
